Ching-Tsuen Huang
Dr. Ching-Tsuen Huang completed his undergraduate in the Kaohsiung Institute of Technology (currently Kaohsiung University of Applied Science and Technology) in 1968. He earned his Master Degree from Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Michigan, USA, in 1977 and his Doctoral Degree from Department of Chemical Engineering, National Cheng-Kong University in 1988.
Dr. Huang engaged the R&D on uranium purification, uranium conversion and radioactive waste treatment technologies in the Institute of Nuclear Energy Research (INER), from 1971 to 2007. Then, he serviced as the Director General of the Fuel Cycle and Material Administration (FCMA) of AEC and the Deputy Director General of the INER after 2010.
Dr. Huang devoted to radioactive wastes minimization by developing and implementing High-Efficiency Solidification Technologies for PWR and BWR wastes. He also devoted to establish international platform for promoting radioactive waste management cooperation, including the East Asia Forum on Radwaste Management (EAFORM) in 2006 and the Cross-Strait Radwaste Management Conference in 2010. He also hosted 1st EAFORM Conference in 2006.
Dr. Huang retired in 2012. He is currently the Convener of the Academic Committee of Radioactive Waste Management, Chunghwa Nuclear Society, and the adviser of Taiwan Nuclear Grade Industry Association (TNA).
Pascal Chollet
Pascal Chollet graduated in 1990 from Texas Wesleyan University, USA, with a double major in Marketing and International Business Administration.
He began his carrier as Office Manager for UNIFRET International from 1990 to 1999. He
joined then the Logistics Business Unit of AREVA in France and held the following positions:
- From 1999 to 2004: Sales manager Back-End
- From 2004 to 2007: Head of Front-End transports
- From 2007 to 2009: Deputy Director for Transport Risk Management
- From 2010 to 2013: Deputy Director Marketing & Sales
Since June 2013, Pascal Chollet has been appointed Director Logistics for China within AREVA China in Beijing.
BARGUES Stephane
BARGUES Stephane, 48 years old, Chemistry PhD, more than 20 years in Dismantling and Decommissioning area within AREVA.
AREVA expert level 2 in D&D and waste management, he started his carrier developing gel products to decontaminate nuclear metallic waste.
Then he held the following positions in several AREVA entities involved in D&D and Waste management:
- From 1995 to 1997: Project manager within STMI (Business Clean Up of AREVA)
- From 1998 to 1999: Technical Director of STMI
- From 2000 to 2002: Head of Dismantling and radioprotection department of STMI
- From 2003 to 2004: Head of Dismantling Industrialization and Waste Department of STMI
- From 2005 to 2007: Director Marketing & Sales of AREVA Business Clean Up
- From 2008 to 2009: Director of industrial partnerships within AREVA NC Business Unit Valorisation
- From 2010 to 2013: Project manager of Dismantling project of GB1 (Enrichment plant by gaseous diffusion) within AREVA NC
Since September 2013, Stephane BARGUES has been appointed Director of Industrial Partnerships for Back End activities within AREVA
China in Beijing, and Director of D&D and Waste activities.
CUI Anxi
Mr. Cui Anxi, Ph.D., Research fellow in China Institute for Radiation Protection, director of Department of waste management, registered nuclear safety engineer, member of standing council of China nuclear chemical engineering society, IAEA network on environmental remediation ENVIRONET regional coordinator, Joint Convention the fourth and the fifth review meeting officer (vice chair of country group). Engaged in scientific research and technical service work on radioactive waste treatment and disposal for more than 20 years, won the third prize of national defense science and technology progress two times, has been hosting or participating in 10 items of research and development projects, published more than 20 papers.
MAO Yawei
Twenty years Radiation Protection and Environment impact assessment work experience of Nuclear Power Plants & the Nuclear Fuel Cycle Facilities, joined the Qinshan, Lingao, Fangjiashan,Fuqing,ACP1000 NPPs and the spent fuel reprocessing, waste storage facilities’ source term analysis, shielding design, dose evaluation and environment impact assessment work. Registration Nuclear Safety Engineer, Registration Environment Impact Assessment Engineer, council member of China Society of Radiation Protection (CSRP).
ZHANG Donghui
Deputy Chief Engineering of China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE). Graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1992. Major research fields mainly focus on the thermal hydraulic and safety analysis of Fast Reactor. As the General Manager, he had successfully accomplished the China Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR) Project, which is one of the largest projects of 863 high-tech plan of China. Nowadays, he is in charge of the technique developing of demonstration fast reactor (CFR600).
